Found a free legal clinic that saved me $400 on my divorce paperwork

Last month I walked into a legal aid clinic at the county courthouse downtown and a paralegal helped me fill out all the forms for an uncontested divorce. Took about 2 hours and I would have spent $400 easy at a lawyer's office. Has anyone else tried something similar when money was tight?

My buddy went to one of those clinics and walked out with his custody modification papers done in an afternoon, saved him from paying a lawyer $600 (which he definitely didn't have).

@wesleyflores had a similar setup help him dodge court fees too, I think it was for a visitation schedule. My cousin went to one of those clinics and ended up chatting with the volunteer about gardening for 20 minutes before she even looked at his paperwork.
