Yeah that joke about it cracking before lunch is WAY too real. I did a brush-on sealer on my own driveway last summer and it was a disaster in the heat. It dried so fast I couldn't even spread it right before it got sticky. Ended up with these weird blotchy spots that never cured properly. Honestly the spray-on stuff saved me the next time. I just masked off the edges good and went for it. Took maybe half the time and the finish was actually smooth and even. If you're in Phoenix definitely go spray. The dry heat is brutal on brush-on.
