My neighbor laughed when I said I was regrouting my shower, then he showed me his 3D printed tile spacers
He told me he makes custom spacers for weird angles and now I'm rethinking all my bathroom tile work, has anyone else tried 3D printed tools for a simple DIY fix?

But can the plastic hold up to years of steam and moisture though?

Maybe it's just me but this seems like another example of how regular people have completely different access to problem solving tools than they did ten years ago. Every time I try to do something old school, I think about how someone like your neighbor just prints the exact tool they need overnight. Probably makes me learn things the hard way, but at least I get bragging rights for doing it without a machine.

Wait, your neighbor just downloads and prints whatever tool they need overnight? Like, for real? That's wild, I'm stuck using a rusty wrench and some duct tape over here.
