PSA: My 'quick' tile floor leveling job turned into a 2-day epoxy nightmare

I used a self-leveling compound from a big box store, but my floor had a slope I didn't catch, so it pooled in one corner and never dried right. Anyone know a good way to fix this without tearing it all out?

Wait, grind it down? Like with an actual grinder? I pictured just working harder, not power tools. That changes the whole mental image.

Ugh, this is the default advice for everything now. Rowan_reed68 gets it, but man, sometimes you just need a new plan, not more grinding.
