Just realized my sister gets a free pass on yelling at her kids but I'm the bad guy for raising my voice once

She screamed at her 7 year old in the Target parking lot last Saturday and nobody blinked. I told my nephew to stop running into the street a little too loud and my mom called me aggressive. Has anyone else noticed their family having totally different rules for different people?

Watched my buddy get hit with this hard. His sister got a down payment for a house straight from their parents. He asked for help with a small loan to fix his car and they acted like he was asking for a kidney. @hannahcraig nailed it, the golden child just coasts while you're out here paying for everything with interest.

THE TARGET PARKING LOT?! That's wild lmao. Like full on screaming in public and nobody bats an eye, but you raise your voice once to keep a kid from getting hit by a car and suddenly you're the family terror. I swear families have this whole invisible hierarchy where some people can do whatever and others gotta walk on eggshells. My cousin literally threw a遥控器 at the wall missing my aunt by inches and my grandma said "he's just passionate." Meanwhile I left a cup on the counter and got a whole lecture about respect.
