Tried a different approach to my title block setup and it saved me a ton of time

I was working on a set of residential plans for a client in Tacoma last month, and I got tired of manually updating the project number and date on every single sheet. On a whim, I set up a custom field in my title block that pulls that info directly from the project file properties. I used to think linking stuff like that was more trouble than it was worth, but it took me maybe 20 minutes to set up. The real test came when the client changed the project number after the first review. Instead of an hour of clicking through sheets, I updated one field and it was done. I felt like I'd discovered a secret cheat code. It was such a simple thing, but it completely changed how I handle revisions now. Has anyone else found a small workflow tweak that ended up being a huge time saver?

Wait, isn't that just using project parameters?

Right, I've done that too and it always feels like a hack.

My Seattle project last year had me doing the same manual updates, felt like a total dinosaur.
