Hot take: That $200 "premium" notebook subscription was a total scam

I signed up for this fancy notebook subscription back in January thinking it would make me more organized or whatever. Paid $200 upfront for 6 months of their "limited edition" hardcovers with stupid names like "The Catalyst." First notebook had pages that bled through with a normal pen. Second one arrived with a bent corner and they blamed shipping. By month 3 I realized I was just hoarding expensive paper I was afraid to write in. Total waste of cash honestly. Anyone else fall for one of these overpriced stationery traps?

Laughed out loud reading this because I did the exact same thing. Signed up for one called "The Visionary" or something equally ridiculous and within two weeks the spine was cracking like old cardboard. I get it though - they make you feel like you're buying into some kind of lifestyle upgrade when really you're just paying for a notebook that falls apart faster than the 50 cent ones at the grocery store. I had three of them sitting in my car gathering dust before I finally just stuck with the same spiral I've used for years. Never again.
