Skipping permits seems way too common for simple electrical fixes now
I was doing a walkthrough and spotted a new light switch put in without any inspection. The connections were loose and it just feels like a big risk. Have you seen this kind of thing happening more often in your work?
YouTube actually helped me spot bad contractors last year, so maybe it makes us better at telling real experts from fakes like Stella_walker34 said lol.
So when does someone cross the line from learning a skill to acting like an expert? Is it when they fix one leaky faucet and start giving plumbing advice, or is there a real difference between having some knowledge and claiming to be a pro?
