Rant: Everyone pushes chemical peels for texture, but I swear by a simple double cleanse with a konjac sponge.
Had a client with stubborn congestion that glycolic acid wasn't touching. Switched her to oil cleansing for a full 60 seconds, then a gentle foaming wash with a damp konjac sponge, and her skin cleared in 2 weeks. Anyone else find that going back to basics works better than the aggressive stuff?

Honestly, the timer is key. I put on a short song instead. That sixty seconds of massaging really works the oil into the pores to break everything up. If I just rush it, my skin feels fine but doesn't actually get clean. The konjac sponge after is the real game changer though, it gently lifts all that gunk right out without any harsh scrubbing.

Wait, you had someone oil cleanse for a full minute? That feels like forever when you're just standing there rubbing your face. I tried that once and got so bored I gave up after like twenty seconds. But two weeks to clear up what acids couldn't? That's wild. Makes me wonder if I'm just not patient enough with the simple stuff.

Morganmartinez, I set a timer and stared at my own bored eyes in the mirror (it was a long minute).
