Warning: I chose to ignore the whole 'AI video' trend for my small business, and it's costing me.
I picked focusing on my old blog content over making those quick AI clips, and now my traffic is down 40% from last quarter. Has anyone else been forced to switch tools to keep up?

Oof, that's rough. Guess the robots are winning this round.

See this everywhere lately, like at my grocery store where the self-checkout talks now. It's not just one big loss, it's lots of small changes. I agree with @phoenixk64 about focusing on what the tech can't do, because that human stuff is suddenly way more important. The game isn't over, but the rules are definitely different now.

Wait, did they actually beat a human at something big? That's kind of scary, @nathankim... I figured we had more time before things got that real.

Yeah, the "robots winning this round" thing hits home. I felt the same when an AI started doing a chunk of my old job. What worked for me was focusing on the stuff it couldn't do, like the personal touch and creative problem solving. I spent time getting better at those human skills instead of fighting the tech. It stopped feeling like a loss and more like the game had just changed.
