Question about that 3-in-1 kitchen gadget I saw 47 ads for on Instagram
I spent 45 minutes trying to get the "easy-clean" blade assembly apart after using it once, and by the end I was literally sawing at it with a butter knife (which obviously defeated the whole purpose), so has anyone else found these things are just a nightmare to actually maintain?

Honestly, 45 minutes seems like a lot... are you sure it was that stuck or were you just really determined to get it apart? I mean, sometimes people overcomplicate these things and just need to let it soak or hit the instructions again. Mine was a pain the first time but after a few tries I got the hang of it. Plus, if you saw 47 ads for it, they must be selling a ton of them, so maybe it's a user thing rather than a design flaw.

Wait, does that mean you think 45 minutes is too long for a first time with this kind of thing? I have a buddy who tried the same product and he said it took him almost an hour just to get the two halves apart. He's not the most handy guy, but he's not dumb either. He had to look up a video online because the manual just showed a picture with no real steps. And @emma_garcia, I see your point about ads and sales, but my friend literally said the plastic felt like it was welded together. After a couple tries he got it too, but that first time was a real battle.

My buddy Tim tried one of those and spent so long fighting with the blade he just chucked the whole thing in the trash and ordered pizza, so I think @emma_garcia's soaking tip might be the only way to survive these things. Did yours at least make good salsa before it fought back?
