Spent $80 on a vintage pattern book and it changed my whole approach
I found this 1970s McCall's pattern book at a flea market in Asheville, and it was full of these wild jumpsuit and wrap dress designs. I was just making simple skirts before, but seeing how they broke down the construction for those complex shapes was a game changer. It made me realize I need to study more historical cuts instead of just following modern tutorials. Anyone else have a go-to vintage resource that actually improved your technical skills?
