Appreciation post: The time I asked for extra pickles at the drive-thru and got a whole different sandwich
I was at a burger place in Springfield last Tuesday and ordered my usual, just asking for extra pickles on it. When I got home and opened the box, it was a completely different burger, one with bacon and a different sauce that I didn't order. I guess the lesson is to always check your bag before you drive off, but has anyone else had an order get swapped that badly?

Did they at least give you extra pickles on the wrong burger?

Lol the "extra pickles" part is so real, @adamt84. It's like they use that as a blanket apology for any mess up. Wrong burger? Extra pickles. Cold fries? Throw some pickles on the side. Forgot the drink? Here's a pickle spear in a bag. It's the universal "we messed up but don't want to remake it" move.

Honestly that's just lazy. I had a place give me a fish sandwich instead of chicken once, and it was like they didn't even listen. The worst is when you get someone else's complicated order and you know they're having the same meltdown over your simple meal. How hard is it to match a ticket to a bag?
