PSA: Had a full glue-up on a 500 sq ft vinyl plank job in Phoenix start to skin over because the AC died mid-day.
We ended up mixing in small batches in a cooler with ice packs and working in 4x4 sections, but has anyone found a better fix for that kind of heat disaster?

That Phoenix heat is no joke, man. Feels like everything from glue to groceries goes bad twice as fast out there.

Come on now. Lived in Tucson for years. It's hot, sure. But stuff going bad twice as fast sounds like a stretch. A good fridge handles it just fine. People make it out to be way worse than it is.

I mean, I read something about this once. It was about how the constant high heat outside makes your fridge work way harder. The motor runs non stop trying to keep it cold, and that can cause spots inside to not stay as cold as they should. So maybe it's not the heat itself, but what the heat does to the appliance. Idk, maybe it's just me but that made sense. A fridge can only do so much when it's 110 out for months.
