I just switched from using regular floral foam to Oasis Bio Foam for my sympathy arrangements.

I made the change after a funeral home director in Charlotte quietly mentioned last month that the old foam was leaving a slight chemical smell in their viewing rooms, and now I won't go back because the new stuff is just as sturdy but feels better to work with, has anyone else tried a specific eco-friendlier foam lately?

My shop in Raleigh switched to Oasis Bio Foam last spring for the same reason. The lack of that weird floral foam smell in our cooler was a total game changer. It really does hold up just as well for large wreaths and standing sprays.

Switched too and our cooler smells way better now.

Huh, my experience was totally different. We tried it and the stems just didn't lock in the same way, especially on bigger pieces. Went back to the classic stuff after a month.
