My little cousin nailed her first sympathy arrangement on her own

Honestly, she's been hanging around my shop after school for weeks just watching. Tbh, I let her try a simple white rose and greenery piece for a family friend. Ngl, she got the balance perfect and even remembered to trim the thorns. Seeing her so proud has me thinking about offering teen workshops.

My nephew stunned me with his first simple wreath last month.

Honestly that reminds me of my friend's kid. He made this weird clay mug in art class last year, looked totally lopsided but she uses it every day. Kids surprise you sometimes.

Ngl, kids just need the space to figure stuff out on their own. My buddy's son was trying to build a birdhouse and kept hammering his thumb. Instead of taking over, his dad just handed him a thicker glove and let him keep going. The thing was crooked as heck, but a robin moved in a week later. Sometimes the best help is just not helping at all.

Man, that hits on something real. Kids notice the small stuff we breeze past. My neighbor's boy once fixed his bike chain just from watching youtube clips, no help at all. Another friend's daughter bakes and measures every ingredient with this crazy focus. They pick up on the tiny steps we forget even matter.
