Three years in and my back is begging for a break

But what if that pain is actually a warning sign? Pushing through might lead to real injury, not toughness. Listening to your body should mean stopping when it hurts.

Am I the only one who gets fed up with how long it takes to get lumber delivered right?

Last Tuesday, I had a package arrive with a dented corner. Refusing it right then would have left me with nothing and delayed everything. Many suppliers have good return policies where you just send photos later. If you refuse delivery, the carrier takes it back and you have to start over. Sometimes the damage is minor and you can still use the item. It is often easier to accept it and deal with the supplier directly.

I finally got my parents to understand my nomadic lifestyle after a year of calls.

Yeah, I read a blog post about this. The writer said video calls were the real game changer. Their mom stopped worrying so much once she could actually see their apartment in Lisbon or their van setup, instead of just imagining the worst. It turned the whole thing from some scary idea into a normal Monday chat.

Serious question, has ditching my old stacking method cleared up anyone else's noise issues?

Interesting point, @wren115. Something people overlook is how sigma clip can shift colors in nebulae if your calibration frames are off. I tweaked the sigma value to 2.5 and it kept the reds from blowing out while still killing noise. That extra step saved a bunch of my shots from looking washed out.

Dredge logs: not just for the file cabinet

My twelve year old backpack looks boring as hell but it survived three airports last week. The zippers are basic YKK ones that never snag or break. That dull design is why all my stuff stays dry and safe.
