Look, blaming yourself for parts delays is just unfair. Everyone runs into supply chain problems or backorders these days. Having to wait on a shipment doesn't mean you're bad at what you do, it just means you're stuck waiting like the rest of us. Cut yourself some slack and use the down time to plan the next steps.

I read the Port of LA had over 400,000 containers waiting off the coast during the worst of the delays. It wasn't about anyone's skill, the whole system just broke for a while. Those backlogs still cause random shortages for specific components today. How long is your usual wait for parts right now?

Blame the parts, not yourself, unless you misplaced the order confirmation email (again).
