inWorking from home made my food bills bigger, not smaller.
My grocery delivery fees last month were insane because I kept reordering the same snacks. It's like a subscription service for chips at this point.

inUpdate: My showcase entry has a character that looks like a friend, and I didn't get their okay. Is this a problem?
Yeah the outfit thing reminds me of when I borrowed my cousin's favorite leather jacket for a concert and got a huge coffee stain on the sleeve. It was a whole thing, way bigger than just the cost to clean it, because it had this history I didn't know about. Sometimes you don't realize what a thing means to someone until you've already messed with it.

inUpdate: My first tiny house had serious moisture problems. How do you handle it these days?
Ugh, I feel your pain with those wet windows every morning. That constant damp chill just makes everything feel gross. I went hard on a continuous mechanical vent system for my rebuild, and pairing that with proper insulation has been a total game changer.

inThe wool blanket from my childhood camping trips still keeps me warm
It's funny how a simple blanket can hold onto so much past. That pine and smoke smell sticking around for years says a lot. What's the very first memory that hits you when you pull it out now?

inAppreciation post: My local hardware store decided gun springs aren't worth the shelf space.
Look, blaming yourself for parts delays is just unfair. Everyone runs into supply chain problems or backorders these days. Having to wait on a shipment doesn't mean you're bad at what you do, it just means you're stuck waiting like the rest of us. Cut yourself some slack and use the down time to plan the next steps.
