I laughed at mental health days until I needed one myself

I used to think taking mental health days was for people who couldn't handle pressure. Last year, I hit a wall with anxiety and had to take time off. That break showed me how important it is to care for my mind. Now I schedule regular check-ins with myself. Has anyone else found a routine that helps prevent burnout?

You actually laughed at them? That's wild.

Daily meditation showed burnout prevention requires steady effort, not occasional breaks.

Last year's data from a wellness app showed that users who meditated 3-4 times a week had lower burnout rates than daily users. Steady effort is important, but forcing a daily habit can add stress. Building in planned breaks keeps the practice from feeling like a task. It's more about regular commitment than never missing a day.

Interesting point, but daily meditation worked better for me to handle stress. It became automatic after a while, so it didn't feel forced. Short, steady practice built a habit that prevented burnout. Planned breaks might work for some, but for many, daily commitment is what sticks.
