Rant: All this talk about self-driving cars misses the real robotics win

Honestly, I keep hearing updates on autonomous vehicles but they still cause traffic jams in tests. Tbh, I think fixing our old infrastructure with smart maintenance bots would help people more right now. Ngl, why isn't this getting more attention in the news?

Yeah but sometimes those flashy projects fix big problems basic upkeep can't touch. They just serve different people.

Ngl, Spencer is spot on. They just redid the park downtown while my street has potholes deep enough to lose a small dog in. Makes you wonder how they decide what gets picked.
