My Class C RV is really struggling on hills, and a buddy suggested getting a custom tune. Has anyone worked with 5 Star Tuning for this kind of application? I'm a little hesitant to mess with the computer on a big rig like this, but I'm tired of screaming up inclines at 45mph.

Do it and don't look back! I put their tune on my V10 rig and it's easily the best mod I've done. It doesn't magically turn it into a sports car, but it fixes the awful factory shift points. It holds gears way better on grades.
Exactly this. The slight horsepower bump is nice, but the transmission tuning is where 5 Star really shines. It makes driving those heavy beasts way less stressful on your foot and the engine.
