I tried writing about a character who finds a single red mitten in the snow and it unlocked a whole week of terrible writer's block.

See, I get that. But I've always found that overthinking is part of the process, not a waste of time. With the mitten, I spent a whole afternoon deciding if it was lost or deliberately left behind. That led me to the kid's whole backstory. Without that spin, I'd just have a wet mitten on a bench and nowhere to go. The locked door guy might not have written pages, but he built a whole world in his head. That counts for something.

Just realized I had to choose between a huge, expensive peony order or a smaller, local grower's mixed bouquet for a big anniversary event in Seattle.

Total panic move" is my whole life, @hernandez.stella. I'm convinced the best stuff happens when the plan falls apart. That fancy blend-in effect is so real, it's why my own place is just covered in weird weeds from the yard.

Saw two apology videos back to back. Night and day.

But what if the chef was just being honest? Maybe he really doesn't get why the old tweets are bad, so a forced list of actions would be fake. @oliver855's politician was a mess, but sometimes a short "sorry" is all someone has.

Why do gadget reviews never mention kid-proofing?

Come on, it's not that bad.

Was sure the $15 thermal paste from Amazon was a scam, but it dropped my temps by 8 degrees on a stubborn i7.

Oh man, that's the worst. I had a keyboard that got so gross from soda spills it started sticking keys together like glue. Ended up just throwing the whole thing out because it felt like typing on wet candy. There's just no coming back from that kind of damage.
