Why does nobody talk about wearing your cosplay inside out by accident?

I was at a small comic con last month, dressed in my homemade Spider-Man suit. I worked on it for WEEKS, trying to get every detail just so. In my hurry to leave, I just threw it on without thinking. Once I got there, I met up with some other fans for a group picture. That's when a kid tapped my shoulder and said, 'Mister, your suit is on backwards.' I looked down and saw all the seams and tags facing OUT. Everyone around us started laughing, but in a nice way. We still took the photo, and now I think it's pretty funny how it all went down.
