Warning: I saw the 'ice bucket challenge' house last month and it's just a normal place now

I was driving through my old neighborhood in Cleveland and passed the exact house where that huge viral video was filmed back in 2014. The one where they dumped like 500 gallons of water and got 8 million views. Now it's just a quiet street, the yard is totally plain, and you'd never know. The family moved out about two years after the hype. It got me thinking about all those 'challenge' houses and what happens to the people who live there after the internet moves on. Has anyone else gone back to a spot that was huge online and found it totally forgotten?

Totally get that. I drove by the house from that "shopping cart challenge" video last year, where they filled a living room with grocery carts. It's just a regular apartment building now, paint is chipped and everything. The whole block looks tired. Makes you wonder where those kids even are now, right? It's wild how the internet picks a spot and then just drops it.

Ever try to find the spot from @quinncoleman's story?

My cousin's friend lived in that apartment from the "mannequin challenge" video that got shared everywhere in 2016. They had to replace the living room carpet because so many people stood in it with their shoes on during the shoot. Now it's just a dentist's office, and you'd never guess.
