Okay, I found a way to actually get through those massive 'watch order' debates without losing your mind.

I was trying to get into the Fate series last month, and the forums were a total mess. Every thread had a different opinion, and the charts looked like conspiracy theory boards. I was stuck for like three days just reading arguments. Then I saw a comment from someone who just said 'Pick the one that looks coolest to you and start. If you like it, you'll figure out the rest.' So I just started with Fate/Zero because the description grabbed me. It worked. I'm not confused, and I'm actually enjoying it instead of stressing over a 'perfect' order. Has anyone else just ignored the watch order police and been fine?

Honestly I used to be a total watch order snob too. But after seeing what julia_carter61 said, I tried just jumping into a series that looked fun. It's way less stressful and you actually enjoy the show.
