That call in Phoenix where the fridge was making a weird clicking noise
I drove 45 minutes out to a house near Glendale last Tuesday for what sounded like a bad compressor relay. Turns out the customer had a container of metal utensils right next to the condenser fan blade, and it was just hitting them on each rotation. I felt dumb for not asking them to check first, but now I always tell people to clear the area around the back of their fridge before I roll out. Saved myself another 30 miles of driving later in the week when I did that with a different customer. Has anyone else wasted time on a simple debris issue that could have been caught with a quick phone call?

Clicking noises from fridges are annoying sure but come on is it really worth a whole post about it. Feels like you're making a mountain out of a molehill. I've had my fridge make all kinds of weird sounds over the years and I just ignored them or poked around myself for like two minutes. Unless it's actually on fire or leaking water I don't see the big deal. Maybe just tell people to unplug it for a sec and plug it back in before calling someone next time.

Hate when that happens.

Is it just the losing progress part that gets you, or is it the whole having to redo the same boring stuff that really grinds your gears? I mean, I've definitely slammed my keyboard over lost progress before, but it's usually the second part that makes me want to walk away for a while. Maybe it's just me, but I think the repetition is way worse than the loss itself.
