Tried a free meditation app for 10 days straight
I usually hate sitting still but gave that Medito app a shot last month. After 8 days I started sleeping through the night for the first time in years. Anyone else have a simple habit that actually surprised you with results?

.....and then around day 5 I realized I wasn't grinding my teeth as much during the day either, which was a total bonus I didn't see coming. I'd say stick with it even if (like me) you feel silly at first, because your brain really does start to chill out after a week or so. One thing that helped me was doing it right before brushing my teeth at night, so it became part of that wind-down routine instead of another chore. Also, don't worry if you miss a day here and there, just pick it back up the next day without beating yourself up about it.

Oh man, I felt that tooth grinding thing too... never connected it until I tried a similar routine. Taping my jaw before bed helped me stop clenching without even thinking about it.
