Warning: My oven in my new apartment runs 25 degrees hot

I moved into a place in Springfield last month and my first three batches of cookies came out burnt. I finally bought an oven thermometer and saw it was hitting 400 when set to 375. Now I just set it 25 degrees lower and everything bakes perfectly. Anyone else have to adjust for a weird oven like that?

Mine did that until I started preheating it way longer than the timer said.
