Had to choose between finishing a show or starting a new one last night

I had one episode left of 'The Bear' season 2, but my friend kept telling me to start 'Shogun' right away. I picked finishing 'The Bear' because I needed that closure on the characters, and the finale was just perfect. It felt good to complete something before jumping into a whole new world. Anyone else get stuck on that 'finish or start fresh' choice?

Wasn't The Bear finale last year? Good call finishing it though, @simonk98 has a point about closure.

Honestly I used to always chase the new shiny show everyone was talking about. Leaving things half finished never bothered me until I skipped a finale last year. That lack of closure actually bugged me for weeks, like I left the characters hanging. Now I totally get your choice to finish The Bear first. Diving into Shogun will feel even better now that you've wrapped up that story. Good call on getting that perfect ending.

My own watchlist has like 17 shows I started and then just forgot about. I tell myself I'll go back to them, but then something new and shiny pops up. It's a real problem. Finishing 'The Bear' first was the right move, because now you can dive into 'Shogun' without that little guilty voice in your head, right?
