Pro tip: Always check the news station's green screen before they go live
I was watching a local morning show in Cleveland last Thursday and saw the weather guy accidentally grab a coffee mug that blended perfectly into the green screen. It looked like his hand was holding a floating invisible cup for like 10 seconds before he realized. The anchor cracked up and they had to cut to commercial early. I used to think those viral blooper compilations were staged but now I see how easy it is to mess up. Found 3 other green screen fails from the same station on YouTube from last year. Has anyone else caught a live TV glitch that made you question production standards?

Cleveland's WKYC has had 11 on-air mistakes in the last 6 months alone. Green screen fails are usually just tired morning crews, not a sign the whole station's sloppy.
