My buddy swears he spotted the same airplane in two different videos from that day but with different tail numbers. He spent like an hour freeze-framing and comparing, sent me screenshots at 2am. I told him to just go to sleep, nobody cares that much about a clickbait plane clip.

Man I had a buddy once who got obsessed with some blurry UFO footage from Arizona. Dude printed out like 50 frames and had them taped all over his garage, measuring angles and shadows. His wife made him clean it up after a week but he still brings it up at parties, pulling out his phone to show people his "evidence." Your buddy sounds like he caught the same kind of bug, once you start zooming in on that stuff it's hard to stop even if nobody else cares.

Oh man your buddy is so right, I spent like 45 minutes cross-referencing those videos against flight radar data and found the same thing it's driving me nuts.
