That moment a news anchor sneezed during a live segment and the crew cut to weather too early
I was watching the 6pm local news in Phoenix last Tuesday when the anchor sneezed right on cue, and the director panicked and cut to the weather guy mid-chuckle. The weather guy was caught fixing his hair for a solid three seconds before he recovered. Has anyone else seen a crew jump the gun like that?

Wait, you're telling me the director cut because the sneeze created a "pacing" issue? LOL I genuinely thought it was just a panicky producer hitting the wrong button. That's wild to me that someone sat there and calculated the exact millisecond to switch cameras based on joke structure during a live sneeze. I've watched the clip like four times and I'm still dying at the weather guy's frozen expression with his hand halfway to his hair. The whole thing feels so chaotic and human, I can't wrap my head around it being some kind of intentional edit.

Nah, that quick cut made it ten times funnier than the sneeze itself.

The editing on that clip is actually textbook pacing, @thomasgonzalez. I produce a lot of content myself and I've noticed people underestimate how much a split second pause can kill a joke. They cut right when the tension peaked, not after the sneeze finished. That's the difference between a funny moment and a viral one. Most folks would've let it play out natural and it would've fallen flat. You gotta trust the timing, not the raw footage.
