Hot take: That $20 Instant Pot knockoff was a total waste of money for me

I bought a no-name pressure cooker off Amazon for 20 bucks thinking I'd save big on beans and stews. The seal failed on the third use and rice ended up all over my counter. Has anyone else had better luck with a cheaper brand or do you just stick with the real deal?

Right, except mine looked more like a crime scene. The turmeric stained everything including my countertops and a couple of towels.

Honestly, I gotta push back a little on the Pollock comparison. Mine came out looking more like abstract art from a three year old. Pollock at least had some control over the chaos.
