Unpopular opinion: Team lunches were my top money saver
I really MISS how we all pitched in for big, affordable feeds. Now with remote life, my kitchen spending feels OUT of control.

Hot take: Shared meals kept budgets real.
My grocery bill jumped like 40 bucks a week, easy. It's the little stuff that kills you, like buying a whole head of lettuce just for a couple salads before it goes bad. Splitting a big takeout order meant you only paid for what you actually ate right then. Now I'm stuck with half-used ingredients and way more food waste, which feels like throwing cash straight in the trash.

Totally feel that about kitchen spending going wild. Splitting a giant pizza or Chinese food order was way cheaper than making full meals just for myself. My grocery bill has absolutely doubled since we all stopped sharing.
