Found out hostels in Tokyo are actually cheaper than capsule hotels per night lol

I was looking up places to crash in Shinjuku and saw a capsule hotel for $45 a night but then found a hostel 2 blocks away for $28 with free breakfast. Which would you pick for a 3 night solo trip - the privacy of a capsule or saving serious cash at a hostel?

Like, are you the type who crashes hard after a day out or someone who actually hangs out in their room? Because if you just need a bed to sleep in, that hostel is the obvious choice. But if you're someone who needs quiet to recharge or you're a light sleeper, the capsule might actually be worth the extra cash. So which is it - are you a deep sleeper who doesn't care about noise, or do you wake up every time someone walks past the door?
