Hit 10 free nights in one year with credit card points alone

I was looking at my travel rewards summary last week and realized I booked 10 hotel nights this year without spending a dime. That covered trips to Austin, Denver, and a weekend in Chicago. I mostly used sign up bonuses from cards I got for everyday spending like gas and groceries. It felt wild seeing that number add up over 12 months. Anyone else keep track of their free nights and get surprised by the total?

Man I've been running through the Chase Sapphire Preferred and the Capital One Venture X lately. Nobody talks about how the Venture X's annual fee basically pays for itself if you travel even a little, plus you can stack it with their shopping portal.
