PSA: The new mall kiosk 'camera fixers' in my town are ruining more gear than they save.
I've seen three busted lenses from their work this month alone. We need to steer clients away from these quick fixes before they do real harm.

Ugh, that's so annoying. Those kiosks often use glue that ruins lens coatings or strip tiny screws. Telling clients to avoid them could save so much money and headache. Saw a camera body with a cracked sensor from a botched screen repair last week.

Phoenix_burns28 is totally right about those repair kiosks being a gamble. They often use cheap parts that fail quickly and can even wreck the electronics. It's always worth finding a trusted specialist for camera gear.

Exactly! Their parts can fry the whole motherboard.

A cracked sensor from a screen repair? That's a whole new level of bad. Those parts are nowhere near each other inside the camera. How does someone even manage to do that kind of damage? It just shows they have no idea what they're doing with the delicate parts. People really need to hear these stories before they hand over their expensive gear. Have you started warning your regular customers about this yet?
