Rant: Fungus in old camera lenses drives me crazy!
I just cleaned a lens full of fungus from a thrift store find. It took patience and the right tools, but now it's clear again. What's your go-to way for stopping fungus in stored gear?

Why do we always wait until something's broken to give it any care? That fuzzy lens is a classic case of moisture or dust slowly winning because it got ignored. It's a tiny version of how so much of our stuff just wears down from not getting a quick check now and then.

My old boss swore by silica gel, but I lost a whole bag of gear to mold in a Florida closet. Now I vacuum seal my off-season stuff with those little packets.
