Question about that influencer's apology video from last week

I used to think any apology was good enough, but seeing him smirk when he said 'I'm sorry you were offended' made me realize he wasn't actually taking responsibility. Has anyone else caught a tell like that in a public apology?

Used to think sorry was enough, but that smirk showed he didn't mean it.

Ever notice how people's feet point when they lie?

Actually used to watch people's eyes for lies, but @nathan_palmer is onto something with the feet thing. My friend's husband kept saying he was fine, but his feet were pointed straight at the door the whole time. Turns out he was planning to leave the party early and didn't want to say. Now I check feet first, because that body language seems harder to fake. It's a small thing that says a lot once you start looking for it.

That smirk is the real tell, so I always watch their eyes and hands for the real story.
