Had to choose between a big salary and a job I actually liked
Last year I took a job at a big company in Seattle making $85,000 a year, but after 6 months I was miserable with the long hours and cubicle work. I quit to take a $62,000 job at a small local nonprofit that lets me work outside and talk to people all day, and I feel way better now. Has anyone else made a similar trade off and regretted it or been glad they did it?

@fiona_carr26 you joke but I honestly believe it. Those little cubicle lights are definitely not full spectrum. You probably started reaching for the window light by 2pm like a real houseplant. At least you got up for water breaks though, a succulent would've just wilted in silence.

Read a study once that said sitting all day basically slowly kills you.
