Best day I've had on site in months was last Tuesday when everything just clicked.

I walked into a kitchen remodel that had been a nightmare for two weeks, and somehow the crown molding miters lined up perfect on the first try, the drawer slides slid smooth, and the homeowner even brought me fresh coffee twice, so has anyone else had one of those magic days where the wood just behaves?

Crown molding miters lined up perfect on the first try" and "fresh coffee twice" in the same day? That sounds like a good day, sure, but calling it "magic" and "the best day in months"? I mean, I get it, but I think maybe you're overselling it a bit. It's just a day where nothing went wrong, not a spiritual experience.

You know, I think there's something everyone's missing here. Val's whole point is that when you're in the middle of a rough patch, a day where nothing goes wrong can feel like a huge deal. It's like when you've been stuck in the rain for weeks and suddenly the sun comes out for an hour. Sure, it's still just weather, but it changes how you feel about everything. Sometimes the little wins are what keep you going when things are hard.

Val's right, it's just a good day, not a miracle. Two cups of coffee isn't magic, it's Tuesday.
