I was on a camping trip with spotty Wi-Fi and had to watch a star's apology on low quality. Made the whole 'crying' part look like a bad filter.

Totally, that bad stream added extra drama.

Honestly, it reminds me of when my cousin tried to livestream his proposal. The lag was so bad that his "will you marry me" got totally out of sync with him holding up the ring. She just saw him frozen with a weird, strained look for like ten seconds. Tbh it almost ruined the whole moment.

Oh man, that's so true. I had a video call with my boss once where the connection was awful, and her serious feedback came off as super shady lol. The pixelation made her smile look like a grimace, and I spent days overthinking it. Tech really does twist the whole message sometimes.

Wasn't there some article about how bad video quality actually makes people seem less trustworthy? I read that low res and pixelation can mess with how we see facial cues, making real emotion look fake. Your camping story totally proves that point, like the bad stream added a whole other layer of drama to the apology. Makes you wonder how much the tech itself changes the story, right?
