Here's my $200 tool debate: saved my butt or just wasted cash?
I dropped $200 on a high-end edge finder last year, thought it was gonna be a game changer for my setup work. First week, it saved me about 15 minutes on every part I touched up, but then the battery died and the replacement cost me another $30. Now I'm wondering if I shoulda just stuck with the old mechanical style that never quits on you. What do you guys think, is paying up for fancy electronic stuff worth it or do you stick with the basics too?

Used to think cheap was better. You changed my mind on that.

Funny how that works. Grabbed a cheap tool once for a quick fix and it snapped on the third use. That video of yours made me rethink the whole "it'll do" mindset.
