After trying coffee in my brownies, I'm convinced it's a must.

I added brewed coffee to my brownie mix last week. The chocolate flavor improved so much I won't go back. Why don't more recipes include coffee?

The cabin air filter in my car was so dirty it probably counted as a spare tire. Spent ten bucks on a new one and the air actually smells clean now. It's crazy how we'll ignore stuff like that but look up fancy sound systems for hours. Same with phone cases, people get pricey phones then use the free flimsy case. Half the time, the fix is just replacing the thing you already have.

Totally agree about coffee in brownies, it wakes up the chocolate without tasting like coffee. Most recipes leave it out because they're aiming for a basic version, not the best one. You can stir in a spoon of instant espresso powder if you don't want to mess with brewed coffee. It's one of those cheap, simple upgrades that makes a huge difference, just like @murphy.taylor said. Same idea with a tiny bit of vanilla or a pinch of salt in sweet stuff, people skip it and miss out.
