I spent almost $200 on a fancy hand grinder that my friend in Seattle swore by, but it takes me 5 minutes to grind beans for a single cup.

What's a good grinder that's fast but still gives a good grind for pour over?

My buddy in Portland had that same problem with a really expensive grinder. He switched to a Timemore C3 last year and said the difference was night and day, it only takes him about thirty seconds now. The grind for his V60 came out really even, no muddy coffee at all. He was so relieved he didn't have to start his day with an arm workout.

Five minutes is crazy, that would drive me nuts. The Timemore C2 is a solid step up, way faster with good steel burrs. It's not as fancy as some but gets the job done in under a minute for pour over.

Man, I feel that in my bones. My old grinder was a total dinosaur, took forever and made my wrist ache. That switch to something like a Timemore just changes your whole morning. You go from dreading the process to actually enjoying it, and your coffee tastes way better too. Total game changer.
