Stuck between two prompts for my writing group this week

I had to pick between a 'person finds a key that opens any door' idea and a 'character wakes up with a tattoo they don't remember getting' one. I went with the key prompt, and it sparked a really cool discussion about where the doors could lead. What's a prompt that's led to a great discussion for you all?

What if the surface level stuff is just a symptom? The way people talk about it now, the casual jokes, they point to bigger cultural attitudes. Those attitudes shape real policies and how people get treated every day.

Yeah it really is that deep. I saw how those jokes at my old job made it okay to pass over certain people for promotions. It starts with words but it ends with real world stuff.
