Am I the only one who thought smart light switches were just a dumb trend?
I finally put in a Lutron Caseta switch for my front porch light after my wife kept bugging me about it for a year. Now I can schedule it to turn on at sunset from my phone, and I haven't touched the switch in 3 months. Who else had a dumb home thing they were totally wrong about?

My porch light is on a timer from the hardware store. It cost ten bucks and works fine.

My wife had to drag me into the smart home thing kicking and screaming! I swore up and down our old thermostat was fine, but now I can't imagine life without adjusting the AC from bed. It's a special kind of humble pie when you realize you were the dumb thing all along.
