Good point from @quinn_ellis85 about door sweeps, and sealing attic hatches can block even more drafts.

Derek's tomb comment is a bit much, but sealing an attic hatch? That sounds like a huge job. You have to get up there with foam and weather stripping, and what if you need to get into the attic later? Seems like a permanent fix for a seasonal problem. I can't imagine doing that unless the draft was really bad.

Sealing up those gaps helps so much. Door sweeps can block cold air from under doors too.
