My friend's kid tried my sauerkraut and said it tasted like 'sour candy'

We were at a BBQ in Austin last weekend and my buddy's 7 year old asked to try the kraut I brought. After one bite, he looked up and said 'it's like candy, but sour!' That totally made my day after the batch had been fermenting for about 5 weeks. What's the funniest thing someone's ever said about your ferments?

That "sour candy" thing is so cute, my niece said my pickles tasted like fizzy cucumbers.
